おかげさまで、京都は紫野の「町家スタジオ 伊織」の改修工事がやっと終了し、新しいお稽古場での日本舞踊クラスがはじまりました！ 北野天満宮に程近く、大正時代に建てられたこの町家は、当時は西陣織の工場でした。 かつてバッタンコットンと、機織りの音が日がな一日聞こえていたといいます。 もう機織りの音はしませんが、新しい形で、大切な家族や弟子たち、支えてくださる方たちとともに、伝統を紡いでゆけたらと思います。 今日はじめられた方が、どうか長く続けてくださいますように。 Today a new student started Japanese Traditional Dance class at a newly renovated “machiya studio IORI”. 今日は、台湾から可愛いお客様が♡ Today’s experience student was from Taiwan♡ バレエを六年間お稽古されているというAliciaちゃん。日本舞踊もとてもお上手でした。 暑い中来てくれて、ありがとうございました☆彡 Alicia has been practicing Ballet for 6 years. She was very good in Nihon Buyo, too! Thank you so much for coming to my class in this still hot Kyoto!
「新鹿の子」の舞台写真が仕上がりました！
先月、６月３日に先斗町歌舞練場にて開催されました、『京の会』にて「新鹿の子」を踊らせていただいたときの、写真が仕上がってまいりました。 The stage photoes of myself dancing “Shin-kanoko” at Pontocho Theater last June was completed and sent to me the other day. 諸先生、先輩方のおかげで、無事務めさせていただきましたことを、心から感謝申し上げます。 I deeply thank my teachers and senior dancers for being able to complete this dance.

先日の日本舞踊体験は、ベルギーから来たとってもスイートなカップル。 The other day’s student was a sweet couple from Belgium. 普段はジャズダンスやヒップホップなどを踊っているという彼女、日本舞踊も決まっていました😊 She is usually dancing hip hop and jazz. Isn’t see looking cool dancing Nihon Buyo (Japanese Traditional Dance), too?😊
奉納舞の動画をアップしました！
先日の貴船神社奥宮での「雪」の動画を、さきほどYouTubeにアップさせていただきました。 お時間のあるときに、ご覧いただけましたら嬉しいです。 貴船の奥宮の、水のせせらぎや、鳥のさえずりが動画からもわかるほどで、あのすばらしく清らかな場所で、ご縁をいただいて、奉納舞をさせていただくことができましたのを、改めて、ありがたいことだったと、しみじみ感じています。 The recent dedication of a Jiuta dance named “Snow” at Kifune Shrine is up on YouTube! You can hear the serene sound of water and the twittering of birds at Kifune even from the video. I am just so grateful that I had this opportunity to dedicate my dance there.

暑さの増すこの頃です。 今日は生徒さんが来て、あまりに暑いので浴衣で「鶴亀」のお稽古をしました。 何度やっても難しいと思う「鶴亀」です。基本的なものこそ、本当に気を入れてお稽古しなければいけませんね。 写真は、先日お参りした、赤山禅院にて。赤つつじが鮮やかでした。 It is getting warmer and warmer these days. 今日の日本舞踊体験のお客様は、デンマークから来たエマ。Today’s dance experience student was Emma from Denmark. カレッジを終えてユニバーシティーに進むまでの間、一年間休暇を取って世界を旅しているそう。She completed the college and took a year off to travel around the world before going to a university. なんとも頼もしい20歳。A courageous 20 year old! 上は、お見送りに行ったバス停にて。実相院のもみじが、青々としてきれいでした。 The above photo is from Jissoin Temple in my neighborhood. The maple leaves were refreshingly beautiful.

奉納舞のチラシが完成いたしました！
3月31日貴船神社奥宮、4月1日下鴨神社橋殿での奉納舞のチラシが完成いたしました。 貴船神社奥宮は、水の神様にちなんだ「雪」「滝づくし」、下鴨神社は、玉依姫さまらしく、「京の四季」「万歳」「御所のお庭」「茶音頭」と春らしくおめでたい内容と、それぞれ雰囲気が異なっております。 桜が咲いてくれるかどうか、無料の会でもありますので、ぜひお気軽にお越しいただけたら嬉しいです！ The leaflets for the dedication of dance at Kifune and Shimogamo Shrine are done.
