第一回　月と舞と箏と歌　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Moon and Koto and Dance and Song

第一回　月と舞と箏と歌　が無事終了いたしました。

水に映った月を鑑賞するという日本の古くからの習慣を、鏡に映したイスラエルの月を写真に撮り、それを床の上に並べて、まるで池に映る月を鑑賞するかのように楽しむという試みを、ここ、日本伝統音楽の源流といわれる声明の発祥である大原は実光院の地において、日本の伝統舞台芸術とともにお楽しみいただきました。

The Moon and Dance and Koto and Song was successfully held in Jikkoin Temple in Ohara, Kyoto.

It was an attempt to present a variations of a Japanese custom to appreciate a moon reflected on water.

Here in Ohara, Kyoto, an artist, Nona Orbach displayed her photos of the reflected moons on mirrors at her Israeli home studio, on the tatami floor so that we look down and appreciate those moons as if they are reflected on water.

The Jikkoin Temple in Ohara is said the place of origin of the Japanese buddhist hymn or Shomyo after it was brought from China.  Later Shomyo became the headwaters of other traditional Japanese music.

With those moons, dances and music were presented.

八掛将嶺　「真虚霊」　Shorei Yatsugake, Shin no kyorei or “True Spirit” (Shakuhachi Flute)
