雪

宮津は雪に覆われた年末年始となりました。コロナにより、様々な会が中止、延期となりました昨年に比べて、ようやく、少しずつ再開されたように思われた今年でした。世間様には何と優雅なと言われることもあります日本舞踊の世界ですが、重い衣装を着て舞台で華やかにあるために、膝の痛み、腰の痛み、腿の筋肉痛など、人に言われぬ苦労もございます。一瞬先は闇ということを思い知る世情であったように思いますが、これからもどうなるかわかりません。一つ一つの舞台を、神様からいただいたものと思い、心を込めて務めさせていただきたいと思います。今年お世話になりました皆さまには、本当にありがとうございました。来年も、何卒宜しくお願い申し上げます。

It has become the snow-covered year-end in Miyazu. Compared with last year when various performances were cancelled or postponed, I saw more theatres restarted this year. People sometimes say how “graceful” we Japanese classical dancers are. Honestly, we also have “human” sufferings such as knee pain, hip joint pain, and thigh muscle pain, etc. Well, life is full of uncertainties, nobody knows what the future holds, you may say. Truly I would like to think each one of the dance opportunities as God given and will dedicate myself with all my heart. I thank everyone who has supported me and will ask your continued kindness.
