お稽古再開につきまして
3月1日より緊急事態宣言が解除されましたので、こちらでも、お稽古を再開させていただこうと思います。 ようやく春らしい気候となり、あちらこちらで梅が咲いていますね。 ご近所のお花屋さんで、枝ぶりの良い木瓜を見つけ、床の間に。 今年は、花見に出かけてみようかと思っています。 I am restarting offering classes as the emergency claim was released as of March 1. Weather is officially spring and the plum is blossoming here and there. I found a nice branch of a Japanese quince tree at a flower shop in my neighborhood. 六月よりお稽古再開します
お稽古を六月より再開させていただきます。 Classes are restarting from this June. 床のお花は、今朝摘んだばかりの庭のドクダミとユキノシタです。 Flowers in the alcove are dokudami and yukinoshita picked up from the garden this morning.
お休みを5月末までとさせていただきます
風薫る季節になりました。 The season is now welcoming the pleasant winds of May. 当初は連休明けまでとしていましたが、政府による緊急事態宣言の延長、また生徒さんたちの健康と安全を考え、お稽古を5月末までお休みさせていただくことにいたしました。 At first I put off the classes until May 6th. 紫野クラスがはじまりました！
おかげさまで、京都は紫野の「町家スタジオ 伊織」の改修工事がやっと終了し、新しいお稽古場での日本舞踊クラスがはじまりました！ 北野天満宮に程近く、大正時代に建てられたこの町家は、当時は西陣織の工場でした。 かつてバッタンコットンと、機織りの音が日がな一日聞こえていたといいます。 もう機織りの音はしませんが、新しい形で、大切な家族や弟子たち、支えてくださる方たちとともに、伝統を紡いでゆけたらと思います。 今日はじめられた方が、どうか長く続けてくださいますように。 Today a new student started Japanese Traditional Dance class at a newly renovated “machiya studio IORI”. 暑さの増すこの頃です。 今日は生徒さんが来て、あまりに暑いので浴衣で「鶴亀」のお稽古をしました。 何度やっても難しいと思う「鶴亀」です。基本的なものこそ、本当に気を入れてお稽古しなければいけませんね。 写真は、先日お参りした、赤山禅院にて。赤つつじが鮮やかでした。 It is getting warmer and warmer these days. 今日の日本舞踊体験のお客様は、デンマークから来たエマ。Today’s dance experience student was Emma from Denmark. カレッジを終えてユニバーシティーに進むまでの間、一年間休暇を取って世界を旅しているそう。She completed the college and took a year off to travel around the world before going to a university. なんとも頼もしい20歳。A courageous 20 year old! 上は、お見送りに行ったバス停にて。実相院のもみじが、青々としてきれいでした。 The above photo is from Jissoin Temple in my neighborhood.
