第246回 千代尼忌にて

先日の9月8日、昨年度、長唄「加賀の千代」を舞わせていただいた石川県松任(まっとう)の聖興寺に、今年も御参りさせていただいてまいりました。

師匠から教えていただきました大切な作品、これからも舞い、また伝えてゆけるよう、お祈りさせていただきました。お寺の皆様には、今年も本当に暖かく迎えてくださり、ありがたいことでございました。

Yesterday I visited the Shokoji Temple in Ishikawa Prefecture to participate in the 246th anniversary of the death of the poet Chiyo, where I was honored to dance about her life last year.

I was so grateful for the cordial welcome of the temple people this year again, and hearing poems and songs dedicated to Chiyo.
