昨日、上方舞吉村流の三世家元雄光先生および四世家元雄輝先生のお墓のある大阪は西方寺にて、雄輝先生の命日(1月29日)の御供養と、舞の奉納をさせていただきました。
降り続いていた雨が、お墓参りのときだけ止んでくれるという奇瑞がございました✨
Yesterday a Buddhist service commemorating the anniversary for the death of Yuki Yoshimura sensei, the fourth Head Master of the school of Yoshimura was held.
I offered the “Shojo” dance, which is about the mythical animal of sake (Japanese wine), as Yuki sensei liked sake more than anything.
The continual rain suddenly stopped just before we visited his graveyard.
My teacher said it was because I wore nice kimono to dance for sensei 😊
