年末をお忙しく過ごされていらっしゃることと思います。
わたしは先日、久しぶりに高台寺に。
こちらの高台寺の茶室、遺芳庵が、実は後世の方が灰屋紹益と吉野太夫を偲んで建てたものとはじめて知って驚きました。
今年の五月は、吉野太夫ゆかりの常照寺（京都・鷹峯）にて「花と箏と歌と舞」を催させていただきました。
常照寺も大変すばらしいお寺で、天下の名妓とうたわれた吉野太夫の寄進された吉野門とご本人の墓所があります。
毎年四月に開催される花供養は、いろいろな形式でお茶が楽しめ、また島原の太夫による献茶、そして道中も楽しみ。
来年も行きたいなあと思いつつ。
今年は大変お世話になり、本当にありがとうございました。
来年もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

[English Translation]
I visited Kodaiji Temple the other day.
Then I was very surprised to know that the tea house “Iho-an” in the Kodaiji Temple was actually dedicated to Yoshino-dayu and Shoeki Haiya, a legendary couple in the Edo period.
I held “Flower and Koto and Song and Dance” at the Joshoji Temple last May. Joshoji Temple is known for the Red Gate that Yoshino-dayu donated and her own grave in the temple.
Hana-kuyo, or Flower Memorial Service, dedicated to Yoshino-dayu is held at the Joshoji Temple every April and you can participate and enjoy various tea ceremonies.
I wonder if I can participate in the next year Service again…
